All of our stick & cope door designs are available in MDF, which is a low-cost alternative to solid wood for applications where doors will be painted. In addition to our basic designs, the following designs are available in MDF only:

RTF-Coated MDF
“RTF” stands for Rigid ThermoFoil. They start out as our general MDF products but have a thin layer of polystyrene plastic (thermofoil) fused to them. A layer of heat sensitive adhesive is applied to the face of the door and allowed to dry. A piece of thermofoil is then fused to the door using heat and vacuum. While we offer several colors of RTF material, all of our doors produced with this method will have white melamine backs.
